Thibaud Giddey is currently a postdoctoral researcher (SNF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellow) at the University of Zurich, working on a project on the history of business lawyers. Previously he was a lecturer (Maître assistant) in contemporary history at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). Dr Giddey is an associate member of the University of Oxford History Faculty and in 2021-2022, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher on the ERC funded project Global Correspondent Banking 1870-2000. His role in the project focused on gathering and using archival data on the strategies, management and governance of international correspondent banking relationships by European banks. He previously held visiting positions at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), City University London and Uppsala University (Sweden).
