WORKSHOP: Where is the money? Financial networks and the geography of credit development

GloCoBank project researchers and associates will be taking part in the 'Where is the money? Financial networks and the geography of credit development' workshop on 6 and 7 October 2022 at the Oesterreichishe Nationalbank in Vienna. The workshop is jointly organised by Vienna University and the Paris School of Economics.

The keynote lecture will be given by Catherine Schenk, 'The evolution of the global payments system: Public and private interests international banking networks'. PDRA Marco Molteni, and associated researchers Wilfried Kisling and Sebastian Alvarez will present their research paper, 'Blessing or curse? Financial contagion and correspondent banking relations in the 1907 panic', and associated researcher Thibaud Giddey will present his research on 'Luxembourg’s international banking centre: Evidence from correspondent banking networks, 1960-1990'.
